Reecie visits with Jeanette.

The best barbeque I have ever eaten can be found at "Frances" in Tompkinsville, Kentucky!Finally, like I promised what seems like forever ago, I am posting a picture of Jeanette so everyone can see how fantastic she looks! She is doing great, and gaining more and more strength every day. Jeff, Reecie, and I went over for a visit on Saturday night. Reecie had a ball with Bree and Veda (their two dogs) and all of the antiques, books, and dog toys in their house!!! Of course, Reece was the center of attention, so we adults didn't get in very much good conversation, but we got a lot of laughs from her!

Also on Saturday, Jeff decided he wanted some bar-b-que. AND he wanted to go to his favorite place, Frances' in Tompkinsville, KY. That is also Martin and Jeanette's favorite too, so I called them and they wanted some also. So Jeff, Reecie, and I drove up on Saturday afternoon and picked all of us up BBQ and brought back. It was good, but not the best I had ever had from there. They were out of BBQ pickled eggs, which are delicious, so I was disappointed, right off the bat. They did, however, have a new menu item which was fried dill pickles, so Jeff and I got some of those and ate on the way home.

Everything else through the weekend was pretty uneventful, but it was a relaxing 3 day weekend before school and work started again for the two of us!
